CCCC Agility Trial

Saturday started with a disastrous standard run. Cisco jumped off the top of the a-frame, so I pulled him. Our jww run was a bit better — we had weave problems and I think I sent him in the wrong end of the tunnel.

Sunday, the second obstacle was the a-frame was pretty sure that we were going to have a very short standard run. Well, his contact wasn’t pretty, but he didn’t fly off so I let him keep playing. He got a very nice rear cross on the flat into the weaves. I was so shocked that we got it that I think I stopped handling for a second and he only did two poles. Brought him back around we got 10 poles and into the wrong end of the tunnel (again I think I was still not prepared to be this far along in the course). We finished up with a few wide turns. The jww course was fun. We ran it beautifully with the exception of the weaves and I told him out to take a jump when I should have kept my mouth shut, he turned off the jump.

So no ribbons, but three runs where we had some very nice moments.
